Database of Expertise

As part of the ALCS objective to facilitate the exchange of expertise, we are currently setting up a searchable database for our members and other interested scholars in conjunction with the Centre for Dutch Studies in Sheffield. The database will constitute a useful tool in matching enquiries from external agencies and institutions seeking experts in specific areas and in linking members with other members who may share similar subject interests and wish to make new contacts and exchange expertise.

We will transfer the current paper database and in the course of 2009 you will receive an email inviting you to check and update your data. At this point you can also indicate that do not want your details to be made public. You will be able to control which details you want made available. The database will be hosted by the University of Sheffield and will be password protected.
